In recent tabs I´ve looked at it says to do a trill.

So my question is what is a trill?

Mike doesn´t have that in the dictionary but here´s a cool definition for it... "On the guitar, a trill is a series of hammer-ons and pull-offs which can be executed using the fingers or even using pick or finger tapping".

listen to some Randy Rhodes man...cant miss it. lol. like the first part of the solo in over the mountain it does like a 1 3 2323232323.
you just hold a note with a finger, say the index, and say with your middle finger hammer on the next string and pull of over and over again to make a whole bunch of notes... Guitar
