| My Approach to Learning and Playing: I think it´s beneficial to understand what you are playing with an understanding of music theory rather than only being able to play it. This leads to better composition and improvisation. Learn as much about a variety of styles and techniques as you can. When you learn a new technique, make it your own by compsing something using that new technique. This really makes it stick. |
