What the Heck is a KnowledgeNet | In the early 2000's when the idea for GKN was being kicked around the term KnowledgeNet was used a lot by tech geeks to describe a place where you stored information. The idea was that knowledge from a bunch of remote sources would be gathered and kept in one place. If anyone needed to know about any aspect of a system they could use the “KnowledgeNet” to find out what they needed to know. This idea seemed to mesh with the concept of the site and so Guitar KnowledgeNet was created. To this day the idea remains the same, GKN looks to those of you who have knowledge in a hope that you will pass this knowledge to others looking for it. |
